This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of LawCentral, operated by Partwigo Pvt. Ltd., India. By using the Service, you agree to comply with this policy. Violation of this AUP may result in suspension or termination of your account.
1. Permitted Use
LawCentral is intended for use by legal professionals — advocates, law firms, in-house counsel, and legal researchers — for legitimate legal work including case management, legal research, document drafting, and practice administration.
2. Prohibited Activities
You must not use LawCentral to:
- Scrape or bulk extract data — automated scraping, crawling, or bulk downloading of case data, research results, or any platform content is strictly prohibited.
- Resell or redistribute — reselling, sublicensing, or redistributing LawCentral's data, research outputs, or AI-generated content as a competing service.
- Misrepresent AI outputs — presenting AI-generated content as human-authored legal advice to clients or courts without proper disclosure and independent verification.
- Harass or defame — using the platform to harass, threaten, defame, or intimidate any individual or entity.
- Submit false or fraudulent content — uploading fabricated case records, forged documents, or knowingly false information.
- Circumvent security — attempting to bypass authentication, access other users' data, exploit vulnerabilities, or interfere with the platform's operation.
- Excessive automated queries — sending bulk automated requests that degrade service quality for other users, including API abuse or denial-of-service activity.
- Violate applicable law — using the platform in any manner that violates Indian law, Bar Council regulations, court orders, or any applicable jurisdiction's laws.
- Train competing AI models — using LawCentral's outputs to train, fine-tune, or improve any competing AI or machine learning system.
3. Data Integrity
- You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of all content you upload.
- Do not upload content that infringes on third-party intellectual property rights.
- Do not upload sensitive personal data of individuals without proper authorisation and legal basis.
4. Account Responsibility
You are responsible for all activity under your account. Do not share your login credentials. If you suspect unauthorized access, notify us immediately at partwigolabs@gmail.com.
5. Enforcement
Partwigo Pvt. Ltd. reserves the right to investigate violations of this AUP and take appropriate action, including but not limited to: issuing warnings, temporarily suspending access, permanently terminating accounts, and pursuing legal remedies. We may report illegal activity to law enforcement authorities.
6. Reporting Violations
If you believe someone is violating this policy, please report it to partwigolabs@gmail.com.
7. Changes
We may update this AUP from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
