Section 74 CrPC — Warrant directed to police officer
Replaced from 1 July 2024 by BNSS 76 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023. Offences committed on or before 30 June 2024 are still charged under the CrPC.
The law now: BNSS 76 — Warrant directed to police officer
A warrant directed to any police officer may also be executed by any other police officer whose name is endorsed upon the warrant by the officer to whom it is directed or endorsed.
