Welcome to LawCentral
LawCentral is an all-in-one legal practice platform built for Indian advocates, law firms, and in-house legal teams. Manage matters, research with cited authorities, draft documents, track hearings and cause lists, bill your clients—and work with Nyra, the AI assistant that ties it all together.
This guide walks you through the typical workflow from signing up to filing your final document in court.
Signing In & Your Trial
Sign in with Google or Microsoft (plus Apple on iPhone). No password to remember. Every new account starts with a 5-day free trial of the full Pro feature set—no card required. After the trial, pick a plan on the Billing page to continue.
LawCentral is also a full mobile app on the App Store and Google Play — visit lawcentral.ai/mobile to download. Hearings, Nyra, recordings, and push reminders all work on the go.
Your Workflow
Step-by-Step Guide
Bring In Your Matters
Three ways to get your practice into LawCentral:
- Create a matter — enter title, client, and case type manually
- Auto Import — paste CNR / diary numbers and pull full case data from eCourts
- File Import — bulk-import up to 500 cases from a CSV / Excel export
Linked cases stay in sync with hearing dates, case status, parties, and orders from the court portals.
Meet Nyra
Your home screen is a conversation with Nyra, LawCentral's AI assistant. Ask a legal question, attach a document, or bind a matter so she can read its full case file—hearings, orders, and documents.
Research answers come with verified citations—click any [N] marker to read the judgment right there. Save useful answers to a matter as research memos.
Draft & Refine Documents
Use /draft in Nyra or open the Document Editor directly. Start from templates (writ petitions, bail applications, civil suits, affidavits, and more) or draft from scratch with the AI Copilot alongside.
Refine in plain language—"make this argument stronger", "add a citation for limitation"—until you're satisfied, then export as DOCX or print for filing.
Stay on Top of Hearings
The Calendar aggregates hearings and deadlines across all matters, and the Cause List page shows which of your cases are listed today and tomorrow. Connect Google Calendar to push everything to your own calendar automatically.
Before a hearing, run /brief for a preparation brief with arguments, precedents, and a document checklist.
Bill Your Clients
Track fees and disbursements on each matter's Billing tab, then generate a GST-compliant invoice with your letterhead and a UPI QR code your client can scan to pay. Share case progress with clients through the read-only Client Portal.
