LawCentral vs Claw (2026): Prices, Features and Who Each Is For
Claw has published a comparison with LawCentral. Some of what it says about us is out of date. Here is the same comparison from both companies’ own pages, with sources — including where Claw is the better pick.

Claw has published a page comparing itself with LawCentral. It is a fair-minded page in places, and it says clearly where each product fits. But several facts it gives about LawCentral are out of date, and price is one of them. This page sets the record straight from our own pricing page, and describes Claw only in the words of Claw's own pages.
Disclosure: LawCentral publishes this page. Claw's facts are taken from its pricing page and its comparison page as they stood on 16 October 2026 — archived copies are linked under Sources.
Five corrections to Claw's page
| What Claw's page says about LawCentral | What LawCentral's pricing page says (16 Oct 2026) |
|---|---|
| Prices are “exclusive of tax, so add 18% GST” | Prices include GST. ₹1,000 a month is the full price, with a GST invoice |
| Starter is “billed as Rs 3,000 every three months” | Billed monthly, cancel anytime — or about 20% less paid annually |
| Plans are Starter, Pro and “Team on quote” | Four published plans: Starter ₹1,000, Practice ₹2,499, Pro ₹4,900, Teams ₹3,500 per lawyer a month (minimum two) |
| GST billing is “Pro plan and above” | Expenses, GST invoices and a UPI QR on every plan, Starter included |
| Multilingual support “not confirmed” | Scans read in ten Indian languages — English, Hindi, Marathi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Gujarati and Punjabi |
Claw's page also describes LawCentral's tracking as eCourts-linked. That is true, and it is not the whole list: a new matter can be added from the Supreme Court, a High Court, a district court (eCourts), a consumer commission (e-Jagriti), NCLT or GSTAT.
Price, like for like
Comparing an annual price that excludes GST with a monthly price that includes it makes the cheaper product look dearer. Here is the same thing in the same terms, for one advocate:
| LawCentral Starter | Claw (1 advocate) | |
|---|---|---|
| Published price | ₹1,000 a month, GST included | ₹13,000 a year + 18% GST |
| With GST, per year | ₹12,000 (monthly billing) | ₹15,340 |
| Billing | Monthly or annual | Annual |
| Matter limit | 50 matters (Practice and above: unlimited) | 500 pending cases per licence |
| Try first | 5 days of the full product, no card | — |
For larger teams Claw's per-advocate rate falls — ₹10,000 for 2–5 advocates, ₹8,000 for 6–10 and ₹6,500 for 11 or more, each plus GST. LawCentral Teams is ₹3,500 per lawyer a month, GST included. A firm of 11 or more on an annual budget will usually pay less per head with Claw.

Choose Claw if
- You need contract lifecycle management. Claw has a full CLM module; LawCentral does not.
- You are a firm of 11 or more paying annually, where Claw's ₹6,500 per advocate rate applies.
- Most of your matters are before forums outside the list above.
Choose LawCentral if
- You want to pay monthly and see the full price, GST included, before you start.
- You want drafting and research to work from your own file — the orders, the dates and the documents already in the matter.
- You bill clients and want GST invoices and UPI on the plan you are on, not the one above it.
The only way to be sure is to try both on a real file. LawCentral's five-day trial needs no card: see plans and start.
